If you’re feeling tired, stretched thin, or like you’re constantly giving to others while quietly putting yourself last, this retreat is for you.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, this is an invitation to reframe what a “day of love” can mean — not another thing to organise or give, but a chance to pause, soften, and fill your own cup first.

The Self Love Retreat is a women-only day retreat — a safe, supportive space to rest, move gently, breathe deeply and feel held in the company of other women who get it.

Come on your own (many women do), or bring a friend, sister, mum, daughter or loved one.

A nourishing, soul-soothing day

Hosted by Michelle Norton-Hughes (Women’s Health Physiotherapist) and Claire (Kundalini Yoga & Breathwork Teacher), blending gentle movement, guided self-care, breathwork and sound healing — with time to enjoy the beautiful Champneys spa facilities.

What it’s All about

This retreat is designed to help you:

  • slow down and come out of “doing mode”

  • release tension held in the body

  • reconnect with yourself in a calm, supportive space

  • leave feeling lighter, more grounded and more you again

Everything is guided with warmth and professionalism, and you are always invited to take part in a way that feels comfortable for you.

 

Your Day Includes

Join us from 9:00am to 6pm for a restorative day of women's health and wellbeing. You’ll enjoy:

Welcome refreshments and a light breakfast

  • A guided women’s self-care morning (coaching, grounding practices, gentle movement and deep rest)

  • Heart-opening Kundalini yoga + breathwork

  • Gentle sound bath healing

  • A nourishing three-course spa lunch

  • Free time to enjoy the Champneys spa facilities (steam, sauna, jacuzzi, pools, hydrotherapy, water beds)

  • Opportunity to book an optional 1:1 beauty or spa treatment directly with Champneys

What You’ll Experience

Women’s Health–informed coaching & embodied self-care (Michelle)

Michelle will guide gentle coaching, reflection and practical self-care techniques to support calm and reconnection.

You’ll be invited to explore simple, everyday tension-release practices (for example jaw, shoulders and feet) that you can take home and use whenever you need to feel more grounded and at ease.

Kundalini yoga, breathwork & sound bath healing (Claire)

Claire is a Kundalini yoga and breathwork teacher whose sessions are heart-centred, calming and deeply nourishing.

Her practice is complemented by gentle sound bath healing, creating an immersive experience that supports rest, reflection and a sense of being held.

The Setting

Held at the beautiful Champneys Forest Mere, this retreat takes place in one of the UK’s most peaceful spa destinations — surrounded by woodland and a tranquil lake. It’s the perfect place to step away from the noise of everyday life and give yourself genuine time to restore.
